Tree frog

 

The Mediterranian tree frog (Hyla meridionalis) … small but mighty!

But soon the spirits will wake up and it is made clear to the rival already in the bush who has the saying here:

And in case somebody has any doubts, out of the bush you can hear some powerful 'ÄÄÄP´s' out of the throat closed to the laryngeal sac

Soon time will come: our greenback will find his usual place in the pond water.

With two, three jumps or short skilful hand over hand between the branches he could be down there in the water, but our greenback pauses, because …

… first he has to do something else!

But after he is, bingo, in the water. Small but long legged is our greenback:

He starts now to take over his territory a preventively he pumped himself full of air:
