A group of lively and very quick Little Terns …
… stayed at the Salines and …
… were looking directly in front of my nose …
… for small delicious fishes:
For hours I watched them quite enthralled and sometimes laughed out loudly, because …
… naturally I would have liked very much to make photos of their dashing into the water for prey, but …
… with their unbelievable speed they fooled me again and again! 
But I was totally enthralled to see their short vigorous hover flights and …
… their wild determination, to get a fish within the next dash into the water:
From time to time also Common Terns joined (or had it been Whiskered Terns?) the group and …
… in the water a flock of Slender-billed Gulls took part in the fish feast:
