Everywhere dunlins were to be seen and …
… some of them we calmly …
… were able to make photos from a short distance:
Too nice how they picked around! Shorebirds definitely are one of my favorites!
But also our absolute favorites, the storks we did not have to take a pass on, because in one of the small lagoons a stork couple came and caused a stir! 
"Boo! No wonder, that the Spaniards call your stilt species *mini storks*, you pipsqueak!":
"Yeah, just get going, you moorhen, because my stomach is growling and I could forget myself!":
Very good, that I did not come to this world as a flamingo! The whole day with the head under water … that would not be my scene!":
"Finally I found something! This also the disputatious young gulls won´t take away from me!":
Haha, I made a find again!" (Notice: no idea, what kind of animal that was, but it struggled for its life. In vain …)
